Believe me guys, it's more than just a pick-up truck. This unit serves more day-to-day purposes than any other unit in the Squad. Rescue 163 is depended on to fulfill duties including picking up medical and other Squad supplies and transporting 165 and 167, as well as our boats to incidents.
When an ambulance crew is already responding to a scene with a delay, this unit also serves a role as the Squad's quick response unit for medical calls and is equipped with jump kit containing basic supplies and medical oxygen.
